Dream About Garden Tour

Dreamt I was in a beautiful garden belonging to a private school. It was mid morning and was sunny and bright. Birds were chirping and it was warm, but breezy. There were beautiful mature trees flanking some planted sections of the garden providing shade. As I looked 360 degrees around me, I could see there were a lot of people walking around as if preparing for an event. I was being given a tour of the school by someone and what they do there, but I only heard their voice from behind me. I don’t know who that person was. In front of me appeared a nice and cheerful-looking elderly, plump and rosy cheeked woman. She was pointing at the flower beds and was showing me a planting bed where they were growing luscious, very red strawberries. The planting bed was almost completely covered with these jewel-like fruit. I noticed looking at the peaceful landscape that the beds were surrounded by sparkling green lawn that was well manicured and thought how the grass complemented the red color of the red fruit. My attention was then caught by the elderly woman again as she was following the planting pattern of the alternating rows of strawberries that were formed in the shape of hearts and I just loved that idea! It made happy seeing that small touches mattered in the aesthetics of the school and were being considered in the planning process. Something just as simple as that is important in making people happy and welcomed, I mused. Then I spotted another woman finely dressed in a skirt business suit. The skirt was a cream color and the jacket that matched had cream colored fringe, but it was mostly multicolor that resembled a abstract representation from a Monet’s Garden watercolor painting. It was composed of a variety of shades and tints of blue hues and then accompanied by violets, magentas, yellows and greens. I thought it was gorgeous and elegantly designed and rendered. She had her blondish-gray hair up and wore demure pearl earrings and necklace. She must have been in the same age range as the woman planting the strawberries, but appeared more businesslike and seemed to exude a discipline and strength of character and purpose. She spoke to me with niceties as I commented on how lovely the school was. She said to me as she pointed over my right shoulder, that I should go and speak to Father John for employment. At that moment I turned slightly and caught a glimpses of a hurried man. He was tallish and slim with black shoulder length hair and was wearing a light colored black frock made for warm weather. I could not see his face though. I know there was so more to this dream, but I can’t rember it all as completely as this vignette that stood out vividly in my recollection.
