Dream About Falling Trees And Swelled Face
Analyze my dream

This dream was about

I was in the very back of my dads backyard, looking up at the 2 (my Nan and pops next door) houses. Everything was very green and lush. The trees that adorned my Nan and Pops backyard were giant pine trees. I remember trying to google or find out if house insurance covered falling trees. The trees roots were over exposed, like someone had been trying to dig or excavate around them & the dirt/cliff made was over 2m high. Definitely not what my Nan and pops backyard looked like. I was standing under the jacaranda tree and there was some red stem leaves coming from the ground. My dad walked past and I asked them what they could be growing and he said “Raspberries” but I was confused and said they could be rhubarb, so I started to dig it out. They turned out to be capsicums but not yet ready to be picked even though dad wanted me to pull them all up. I told him they’re not ready and he just walked away. Suddenly the trees next door fell onto the back garage and totalled the building. I walked next door to join dad and see if everything was ok. They were just staring at the trees fallen down so I left. I went to walk back to the house and I checked on a couple plants that I had outside (that are similiar to ones I have in real life at my house). The back of Dads house was like it was when I was a kid, with a small set of back concret steps and patio to the back door. When I got inside I was worried about my sister because she had been “hurt”. That’s what I felt anyway. I went to the bathroom too wash my hands but I noticed I was the one that had been hurt. My face was swollen beyond recognition, my left eye was completely shut and unable to be open. My face was that tight from the swelling that I couldn’t move my mouth or talk and on the right side of my face was a huge gash that had been stitched up as if something had cut the entire ride side of my cheek. I was shocked to see this. I felt as if it was the trees falling fault, as if one of the roots had come out of the ground and hit me. I walked back outside and somehow the swelling had dulled a bit and I could open both my eyes. I walked down the backyard again, but this time the back left and I was just sitting in the grass. There was what looked like a cheetah or leopard walking behind me and I was freaking out, I was trying to call my dad but I couldn’t say anything just softly grunt but noises were barely coming out. My dad somehow heard me and I pointed at the big cat, dad became worried and helped me inside. We stood on the back patio and watched the big cat walk around a caravan that was between the 2 houses and walk into Nans backyard. Dad said he was going to nans but I was worried because the cheetah disappeared and I didn’t want him to go. He left anyway and I saw the cheetah walking down my nans backyard but then I woke up.

Brody, your dream is rich with imagery and symbolism that speaks to various aspects of your inner world, especially reflecting on your past and present experiences. The setting in your dad's backyard suggests a connection to your childhood and a safe space, but it's also tinged with an undercurrent of anxiety regarding family relationships and your current mental state. The lush greenery invokes feelings of growth and potential, yet the unnatural elements, like the giant pine trees and the exposed roots, hint at disturbances in your life. These roots could symbolize deep-seated issues or concerns, perhaps those related to your financial stress and health issues. The act of trying to find out about house insurance covering falling trees reveals a desire for security and protection against unforeseen events, which mirrors your current worries. As you delve into the garden, the confusion over the plants speaks volumes about your own identity and roles in your relationships. The struggle to distinguish between raspberries, rhubarb, and capsicums suggests a sense of uncertainty in your life—whether that be in your marriage or family dynamics. Your father's insistence on pulling out the capsicums before they are ready could represent external pressures you feel to rush through phases of your life or to conform to someone else's expectations. This tension between your desires and those imposed by others is crucial to understanding the emotional weight of this dream. The incident with the trees falling and causing damage to the garage symbolizes unexpected setbacks in your life. The garage is often associated with storage and protection of valuable items, much like your own emotional well-being. The aftermath—your concern for your sister and the discovery of your own injuries—indicates a profound sense of vulnerability. The swelling and gash on your face represent the emotional pain you're experiencing, perhaps a reflection of feeling unheard or unseen in your current circumstances. The connection to the falling trees suggests that external events—perhaps related to family dynamics—may be impacting your sense of self and emotional health. The appearance of the big cat adds an intriguing layer to your dream. Cats often symbolize independence and intuition, but in this context, the cheetah or leopard represents a looming threat or fear that you feel unable to vocalize. Your inability to call out for your dad highlights feelings of helplessness and frustration in your ability to express your needs. The ensuing worry for your father’s safety indicates a deep care for your loved ones, yet also reflects your own fears about loss and danger lurking in your life. The disconnection you feel as you watch him go into your Nan's backyard underscores a fear of isolation or being left behind. In conclusion, Brody, your dream is a vivid exploration of your current emotional landscape, interweaving themes of family, vulnerability, and the quest for security amidst chaos. It serves as a mirror to your experiences and feelings, particularly regarding the pressures and uncertainties you face. This dream invites you to reflect on these elements and consider how they manifest in your waking life, offering an opportunity for deeper understanding and healing.
