This dream was about

Okay, I just woke up from one of the craziest dreams I've ever had. It started off with this concrete building that was right across the way from the zoo here in Sacramento, and it was supposed to be the new small cat enclosure, right? It was this big building made of like cinder blocks that had been painted purple and black. And I was like, ooh, I like that building. So I went in there and I started looking at all the small cat breeds. And then the farther you go in, the more stuff you're like, whoa, what the fuck is that doing in here? And stuff like snakes and all kinds of stuff like small snakes. And then you realize these people, these people were like me. They were different. They weren't, they weren't real people. They weren't just taking care of these animals. They were bonding with them. They were becoming their familiars. They were crossbreeding them and making these hyper aware, hyper intelligent beings with fur. It was amazing. And then you realize, okay, so they're shutting this place down. And you can see they're taking down all these crazy decorations or I guess decor. And I went out back where there was a bunch of people because somebody needed some antivenom, so I brought it back there. And right next door, in the woods somehow, is this giant like five or six story white Victorian mansion. And every single floor has a wraparound balcony. And it has this black, orange, red, and white, almost like barbershop stripes going up each one of the columns all the way up the side of the house, like all six stories or whatever. And each balcony is a balcony for one of the bedrooms on that side of the house. And look up and there's just gothic decor covering the outside of this house. And each balcony has a different person on it or people on it. And there's this huge, like, just feeling of, oh my god, I'm home. And I get into the house and the house is just this intense maze of room after room after room after bathroom after bathroom of just all these crazy, like really darkly decorated rooms with these very interesting people in them. And it really did, it just felt like I'd finally found home. It was really crazy and creepy in parts, like the part where my apparently dead biological grandparents stopped me in one of the hallways and said, Hi, this is who we are. And this is for you. And they gave me this big, like giant briefcase thing. I'm like, what's this? And they're like, like, giant briefcase thing. I'm like, what's this? And they're like, oh, it's everything that you're ever going to need. And I open it. And it was a collection, apparently, of shrunken heads and weapons. And I was like, what? And I look closer and each one of the shrunken heads is a different serial killer from back in the day. So apparently they were some kind of vigilante serial killer killers or some shit. And I got to keep their collection. They also showed me where they were buried, which was outside of the house, and the headstones were really ornate, and it looked like human arms made out of bones, the human arm bones that were grabbing hands at each corner, and then like the shoulder joint would be the opposite corner, going all the way around the headstones, and when I walked up to it, the headstones almost turned into like a screen and started playing scenes from the lives of the people buried there, and yeah, they were like some vigilante, we kill bad people because they're bad people, and it was weird, like they had Captain Hook's musket and sword in that briefcase, there was John Wayne Gacy's shrunken head, there was a bunch of knives, there was a bunch of guns, there was a bunch of poisons, and there was letters from serial killers to people, there was letters to serial killers from those family members of mine, and apparently there was this huge network that everybody knew each other, and everybody just kind of had understood respect for each other, like you do your thing, we do our thing, but if you cross the line, we're going to fuck you up, good thing. It was really interesting, very interesting, and it kind of reminded me a lot of my Crew growing up, like just the understandings and the unspoken contracts that people were in back in the day, all the way up until even now, it's a very interesting political type of situation.. And that's what got me in the house. I don't know, the whole thing was fucking bizarre as shit. And of course, I had my cats with me and they were like, really enjoying hanging out with their exotic cats and everything else. And there was a pond on the property. And it was just really cool. And all the exotic cats just ran wild all over the house, all over the property. It was really cool.

Julia, your dream is a remarkable tapestry of symbolism and emotional resonance, intricately woven with themes of identity, belonging, and the duality of what is considered normal versus what is seen as extraordinary. The concrete building across from the zoo, painted in purple and black, serves as a powerful metaphor for your own perception of the world—a blend of the mundane and the fantastical. The choice of colors is significant; purple often symbolizes creativity and mystery, while black can denote the unknown or hidden aspects of yourself that you may be exploring. The small cat breeds you were drawn to represent qualities you admire or even wish to embody—perhaps independence, curiosity, and a sense of playfulness that you feel needs to be nurtured in your life. As you ventured deeper into the building and encountered snakes and unusual creatures, this signifies a journey into the depths of your psyche. Snakes often symbolize transformation, healing, or hidden fears. Your ability to recognize these beings as not merely animals but as hyper-aware companions indicates a longing for deeper connections and the potential that lies within unconventional relationships—both with others and with yourself. The act of these individuals bonding with and crossbreeding these creatures reflects a desire for personal evolution, suggesting that you may be in a phase of life where you're seeking to merge different aspects of your identity or experiences into something more authentic. The closure of the space you admired, with decorations being taken down, conveys a sense of loss or transition. Perhaps you sense that certain aspects of your life are shifting, and you are processing the change. When you bring antivenom to someone in need, it highlights your innate nurturing qualities and your willingness to help others, even in chaotic situations. It shows your proactive approach to dealing with challenges and the support you offer to those around you. The grand Victorian mansion you found yourself in represents a safe haven—a place where you can explore your innermost thoughts and feelings without judgment. The gothic decor and the maze-like nature of the house signify the complexity of your emotions and experiences. It feels as if you are navigating through various facets of your life, each room revealing a different layer of yourself. The encounter with your biological grandparents introduces elements of legacy and ancestral ties, indicating that you may be grappling with your family history and how it shapes your identity. The briefcase filled with shrunken heads and weapons is particularly striking; it suggests a confrontation with darker aspects of human nature, both your own and that of society. This bizarre gift from your grandparents could symbolize the burdens or truths passed down through generations, urging you to confront and integrate these elements into your sense of self. Lastly, the connection to vigilante justice and the preservation of these serial killers' memorabilia speaks to a deeper narrative about morality and justice in your life. It reflects your understanding of right and wrong, as well as the complexities that come with such definitions. The presence of your cats, reveling in the exotic environment, emphasizes comfort and companionship amidst the chaotic and often dark themes of your dream. This suggests that while you may explore heavy concepts in your life, there is still a playful and lighthearted part of you that seeks joy and connection. Your dream, Julia, is not just a bizarre journey through strange encounters but a profound exploration of who you are, where you come from, and the intricate interplay between your past and your aspirations for the future.
