Dream About Crush And Bar Fight

pages.dreamInterpretation.thisDreamWasAbout

I dreamed I was at this bar/club and was dating this guy named Sam. Sam was this kid I went to school with. When I was a young girl and new at the school these girls who were my new friends “gave” me a boyfriend, sam. Sam never talked to me or said anything but suddenly we were dating. So Sam is from my awake/really life, but in this dream he was all grown up and my boyfriend. In the dream I keep talking about how much I have a crush on this guy Josh. Josh is also from my real life. He is this man who is 15 years older than me that I work with. In my real/awake life I also had a crush on him recently. However I didn’t tell him, I only told my boyfriend Adrian because I didn’t want to do anything to jeopardize our relationship. And in the dream I just kept talking about it and Sam was upset because he said I could ruin Josh’s life by talking about my crush. Sam said Josh is a teacher and could be perceived as being creepy if I kept talking about how much I had a crush on him. Sam was upset about me having a crush on Josh. Josh was at the bar and I just wanted him to look at me or see me. I kept talking about the crush because secretly I wanted Josh to know. Sam got up from the bar to leave and somehow a bar fight ensued and I fell flat on my face and got glass all in my hand. Other people in the bar fight fell flat on their faces or had their whole bodies covered in glass shards so everyone couldn’t help me because other people were worse off. When I went home I tried to start getting glass shards out of my hand but they just kept cutting me deeper as I tried to pull them out. I asked my sister for help but she wasn’t helpful. I was so scared about the glass but no one could or would help. Then I woke up.

Mary, your dream offers a profound exploration of your inner world, centering on themes of identity, self-expression, and vulnerability. The setting of a bar or club symbolizes a space of social dynamics and self-discovery, where you're navigating relationships both old and new. Sam, a figure from your past, represents unresolved issues or expectations placed upon you during formative years. The fact that you were "given" Sam as a boyfriend without genuine connection underscores a sense of passivity or lack of agency in your personal life decisions. In the dream, Sam's role as your boyfriend in adulthood suggests a revisitation of past relationships, perhaps indicating a desire to understand how these early experiences influence your current self. This links to the presence of Josh, a real-life crush, whose introduction into your dream underscores an ongoing emotional conflict. Your candid expressions of attraction towards Josh, even in Sam's presence, reveal a deeper yearning for authenticity and freedom in expressing your true feelings. Sam's concern about the impact of your crush on Josh hints at internalized fears about how your emotions might affect others, particularly in a professional setting. The ensuing bar fight and your subsequent injury serve as powerful metaphors for the chaos and unexpected consequences that can arise from unexpressed emotions or unresolved tensions. Your fall and the glass shards in your hand symbolize the vulnerability and pain associated with confronting these emotional truths. The deeper cuts as you attempt to remove the shards illustrate the initial discomfort or distress that can accompany the process of emotional healing and self-discovery. The absence of support from others, including your sister, highlights feelings of isolation or the perception that those around you may not fully comprehend your internal struggles. This aspect of the dream might reflect real-life sentiments of being unsupported or misunderstood, particularly amidst various life transitions and mental health challenges. Your dream invites you to explore these complex emotions, encouraging a journey towards greater self-awareness and empowerment in your personal and professional life.
