Im in a space that is supposed to be my house. Its run down and disorganized with clutter and filth everywhere. Im embarrassed, overwhelmed and disgusted. I don't recognize the things or know when the messes happened and I people to clean up their messes but can't make that happen. I snap and start attacking the messes, even though its daunting and overwhelming and I'm in over my head. I find remnants of bags with things already starting to be sorted and vaguely remember that I had done that. I try to build on it although I'm not sure the style of organization is still effective. I figure I'll carry on and come back to re-house the items that I had previously sorted into the little bags. I think the bags are gifts for my sisters and family. I step outside into a balcony/deck and feel a familiar sensation of threat and being watched and immediately see not too far a way a mountain lion who spotted me immediately and is making its way over to attack. It's like it was waiting for me and knew I'd go outside eventually. I went out there to repair or clean something and I see if coming but vaguely recall that I know how long it will take to reach me and decide to calmly continue with what I'm doing for a moment. When I sense that safe window is closing I turn and run back to the door. The mountain lion instantly gives fast chase. The door doesn't open quickly or properly but I get inside- suddenly the door is made of two sliders that close from different directions. I get them closed as it approaches but then realize I have to lock it as well. I manage to do that even though the locks are weird and suddenly the entire wall, door, windows are loose and I notice don't meet the ceiling. I wake up before I figure out how to fix that problem before the mountain lion tries to get in by jumping over or attacking the wall itself

Your dream presents a vivid landscape of internal conflict and emotional turmoil, which I believe speaks volumes about your current state of mind. The setting of your house, a place that is supposed to be a haven, yet is depicted as run down and cluttered, indicates a sense of disorganization and chaos in your life. This may reflect how you perceive your own personal space or mental state; the embarrassment and disgust you feel suggest that there are aspects of yourself or your environment that you wish to address but feel overwhelmed by. It’s as though you are confronting parts of your life that have accumulated and become burdensome, yet you feel powerless to initiate change. The clutter may symbolize unresolved issues or emotions that have been neglected, perhaps things you’ve pushed aside in the past, now demanding your attention. As you attempt to clean up the mess, snapping and attacking the chaos illustrates your frustration and desire to regain control. Despite feeling overwhelmed, your instinct to sort through the remnants of previous attempts at organization shows resilience and a desire to improve your situation. The bags you discover, intended as gifts for your sisters and family, could signify the love and connections you value, yet they have become entangled in the disorder of your life. This juxtaposition of care and chaos suggests a struggle between your nurturing side and the messiness of your reality. It’s as if you’re trying to reclaim a sense of order, not just for yourself, but for those you care about. The moment you step outside and perceive a threat in the form of the mountain lion adds another layer of meaning to your dream. The mountain lion, often a symbol of power and instinct, may represent an external challenge or an inner fear that you feel is waiting for the right moment to confront you.
