Dream About Being Possessed In Nightmare
Analyze my dream

This dream was about

I had a dream I was at a rest stop. It was nighttime. I was alone, traveling. I could see the lights from a small town in the distance. I walked out of the rest stop and I was approached by a very large man. He asked me if I had a gun, I replied that I did (i didn't), then he asked if I had the gun with me, and I replied no. He then told me, "be careful out here. I heard there's a big man coming into peoples dreams and getting them". He then opened his eyes grew large and went completely black, he opened his mouth wide (the same way a snake unhinges it's jaw) and a black ball came out of his mouth, he then tossed the ball to me and as soon as I caught it, it felt like something crawled into my skin. Like I was being possessed. I woke up in complete terror.

play/pause
a rest stop at night. This location embodies a transitional phase, a pause in your journey where you momentarily step away from the hustle of life. The darkness surrounding you symbolizes the unknown aspects of your life that you may be grappling with, reflecting both fears and possibilities. The rest stop, a place typically associated with brief respite, suggests you are seeking a moment to reflect or perhaps even escape from something weighing on your mind. The lights from the small town in the distance may represent hope or a desire for connection, hinting at feelings of isolation despite being in a relationship. As you encounter the large man, your immediate response to assert possession of a gun, despite not having one, speaks volumes. Guns often symbolize power, protection, or control. By claiming to have a gun, you may be expressing a latent need for security or the ability to defend yourself against perceived threats or challenges in your waking life. The man's warning about the 'big man' coming into people's dreams indicates a fear of an external force or influence that feels threatening, suggesting that you might be grappling with anxieties or pressures that feel larger than life and are encroaching upon your subconscious. The transformation of the man into a creature with black, large eyes and an unhinging jaw is striking.
