Dream Of Monster Church Hideout

I dreamed I was in a new house. Just moved in with some friends. The faces were blurred out, but most seemed to be my age. I loved the house. It was set near a forest, but there were neighbors just a bit down a road. So we weren't fully isolated. A comfy place. And there wasn't anything more I wanted to do other than go into the forest. I wanted to see it, explore the trails. But I was too scared to go alone and no one wanted to go with me. So, I walk around the house, never going far but enjoying the outdoors. Across from our house was a small church. It seemed creepy and abandoned. It was late in the evening, and I was about to go inside but a woman runs out of the church and yells for us to hide. To be quiet. To go, and stay out of the forest. I hide behind a corner of the house, leaving view of the church but hiding myself. I see a monster come out, dragging the woman back into the church. When it was out of sight, I run into the house, yell for everyone to scatter and hide. I nearly enter the basement when a smaller entrance was apparent and I slid inside. It was a smaller but more secure hide out. It was quiet, and safe. I could hear the monster screenching and hunting for me. My roommates make noise, finding the same hide out as me and join, but they're turning in lights and talking, some struggling to get in. The monster drags then away, one by one. Clawing at the entrance it was too disproportionate for. It looked like a naked human, but had the face and hind legs of some kind of dog. It had no eyes. It's arms were long, allowing it to run on all fours or two legs. I woke up before it reached me.
