My first love/fiancé and I broke up about 10 months ago. Every single day since then, I’ve been missing him and longing for everything about him. Last night, I had a dream that he was finally back. We drove down a long long long dirt road and we just talked everything out. We talked about our lives now, we talked about miscommunications in our relationship, and we talked about “us.” It was a surreal experience since im a very different person than when I was in a relationship with him. In the dream, I made a turn on the dirt road and it let me down a flight of stairs. My car went bumping down this flight of stairs at 85 mph and the both of us were laughing while driving down it. We reached the bottom and I remember I got out of the car with him and I found a little wooden box with the Dodgers logo on it. We walked up the stairs; hand in hand like we did on our first date. It somehow led us to this town that was meant to be a Halloween attraction where there were actors dressing up as creatures who were trying to scare people. We walked around the entire town, still talking about each others lives and all of that. At one point, Robert told me he wanted to leave because he’s seen me and what he’s done in a whole different light and he feels horrible. I reassured him that it was okay and that these last 10 months were the most I’ve ever struggled but it’s been the growth I needed. There was a scare actor that came up and tried to scare us but I got mad at shoved them away. Robert just chuckled at me. I asked him what’s happening now, because when we were dating he told me that he couldn’t just be friends with me after being so close to me at one point. Robert told me he doesn’t know. I suggested us trying again. He told me he thinks he has someone else. I told him we don’t have to be exclusive; I didn’t feel any bit of jealousy which I was VERY surprised about. Even when im actually awake. Robert gave me a soft smile and said yes; he’d love to still hang out and try again. Little by little. Slowly but surely. My entire vision suddenly went black. The words “I love you” in white text suddenly was the only thing I saw. It was read in my voice. In the next moment the words “I love you too” in white text appeared. It was in HIS voice. I immediately woke up after that. Now that I am awake and thinking about the dream, I have NO negative emotion whatsoever which is extremely shocking to me. This is the happiest I have ever woken up my entire life. It’s like things feel complete because we had a HORRIBLE breakup 10 months ago. Could it be that I have the chance to talk to him again? He moved away to Tennessee and im in California. He’s restarting his life. I miss him so much. What do you think?
