Dream About Lockdown And Violence

pages.dreamInterpretation.thisDreamWasAbout

I was in my AP Human Geography classroom, and it was a little different. The class looked slightly different, with slightly different people, most of which I knew. There was a lockdown and I was terrified. This guy walked up to me who I know, and he was suspicious. He stared at me and I think he almost attacked me. I decapitated him with my knife, and someone similar to him came and was also trying to hurt me. So I decapitated him with my knife also. And the third time, he looked similar, almost as if it was a slightly altered clone, but I wasn’t sure. I said sorry and I hugged him, but he grabbed onto me and reached inside his pockets. I was suspicious so I pulled away. For some reason everyone got in lines, and there were actually colors in each row like red, green, pin, black, etc. and someone was in front of each one. I thought they were about to kill us but they just ran across and slapped us. I felt guilty for killing two people and I told someone about it. I didn’t know if it was a real lockdown or not and it was just overall a weird and maybe a little nonsensical moment

Seth, your dream is rich with symbolism and evokes a profound sense of anxiety and conflict that is very much reflective of your inner emotional landscape. Starting in your AP Human Geography classroom, a place that typically symbolizes learning and social interaction, we see a setting that feels somewhat alien to you, suggesting that you might be grappling with feelings of displacement or uncertainty in your current environment. The slight differences in the classroom and the presence of familiar faces may indicate your struggle to find your identity within your social circle or academic life, highlighting a sense of confusion about who you are amid your peers. The lockdown scenario introduces a powerful theme of fear and threat. Lockdowns in dreams often symbolize a feeling of being trapped or overwhelmed by external pressures in your waking life. Your terror in this situation reveals an inherent anxiety about facing challenges or perhaps feeling vulnerable in your current circumstances. The fact that someone you know approaches you with suspicion may reflect feelings of betrayal or distrust towards those around you, emphasizing a fear of being misunderstood or judged by your peers. Your reaction to the threat, where you decapitate the assailant, suggests a desire to take control of your fears or aggressions. The act of decapitation may symbolize the severing of connections, perhaps indicating a need to eliminate certain relationships or negative influences from your life. The repeated appearance of similar figures could represent recurring issues or fears that you feel you must confront multiple times.
