Dream About Fish And Husband Silhouette
Analyze my dream

This dream was about

I was trying to feed the fish in my room and go to sleep when a doll sitting in on top of the fishtank kept falling onto the floor,I named it andy. I threw it into the water of the fish tank, layed in my bed and turned around and felt like it jumped out. I got up and watched the fish swim and noticed a jellyfish and a unique creature I'de never seen before, it resembled a turtle but with hollow black eyes and pointy ears that swam away to the back. I tried going back to sleep but I felt a presence that seemed familiar but I couldn't tell if it was anyone I knew so I hid behind my blanket peeking into the dark. Then I called out different names to get a response. I called out for my husband and my husband answered yes and sat next to me on the bed. I kept trying to see him but could only see a silohouette of him. He tickled me and I felt warmth and familiarity and told them to stop because I wanted to talk with him but he kept pushing me back with his chest so I didn't see his face. I seen his silohouette and a white t-shirt and he got up and vanished and I felt scared. Later I got up and found a women who I'de never met and asked her if she knew if my husband was home and she told me "well he is ...and he isn't" I asked what it mean't and it felt like she was insinuating that something bad happened to him and that he was visiting me from beyond the grave. My stomach turned, I woke up and had a panic attack and called my husband to make sure he was okay.

Melissa, your dream is rich with symbolism and layers that reflect your emotional landscape and current experiences. The act of trying to feed the fish in your room represents a nurturing instinct, perhaps highlighting your desire to care for those around you, including your children and your husband. Fish often symbolize emotions and the subconscious, so this may suggest that you are attempting to nourish aspects of yourself or your family that feel neglected or undernourished. The fish tank could symbolize a contained environment where your emotions are kept, hinting at the challenges you face in expressing or managing these feelings, especially in light of your recent loss of a loved one. The doll, named Andy, represents childhood innocence or perhaps a part of you that feels playful yet vulnerable. When you throw Andy into the water, it suggests a desire to release or submerge something familiar and comforting into your emotional depths. The fact that the doll keeps falling could indicate feelings of losing control over certain aspects of your life or relationships, which may be anxiety-inducing given your recent experiences and stress levels. The unique creature you describe, resembling a turtle with hollow eyes, could symbolize something unknown or repressed within you—perhaps fears or anxieties that you have yet to confront fully. Its pointy ears suggest a sense of alertness to your surroundings, emphasizing your sensitivity to the emotional currents around you. As you attempt to fall asleep, feeling a presence that is familiar yet indistinct suggests that you may be grappling with feelings of connection and disconnection, particularly with your husband. Hiding behind your blanket while peeking into the darkness symbolizes a protective instinct, as though you are shielding yourself from something that feels overwhelming or threatening.
