Dream About Collecting Purple Stones

Me and a man were collecting purple stones. At first he was showing what they looked like in case i found any alone, then we walked to a house where a boy was putting the stones we collected into a machine that fused them into a shiny,purple, orb. I went outside and found a patch of plants with wet sand that when i walked onto it, grew more of these people purple stalagmites. I went back to the house and told the man what i found and he followed me back to see for himself. More grew out of the ground as i stepped onto the wet sand again and we collected them. When we went back to the house, the boy was missing and so was the machine so i put the stones in a corner of the room, and we decided to go for a walk. I noticed as we walked around the man didn't say anything and seemed sad.
