Dream About A Dark Tunnel

I can't quite remember my dream, but the end is too confusing. I was in a tunnel. It was dark, and damp with an almost blinding light at the end of it. I was walking away from the light. (Which now reminds me of the saying "the light at the end of the tunnel" for when someone is dying.) I began walking to the end of the tunnel where the light is, but then I heard whispering. I was alone, but there was whispering as if there were hundreds of other people. They were saying something about being proud. "Be proud. I am proud" I was confused so I turned around and went back towards the darkness, and that's when I woke up. Did I almost fucking die?
