A little background of my life right now. I have currently been moved out of my normal apartment and home for the purpose of renovation and I have been moved into a cute little hotel with very few things for sustenance. For the most part, all of my needs are being supplied, but I am very much displaced and a little uncomfortable, even though I try to keep a good attitude and I'm grateful every single day for the new apartment I'm getting and the opportunity to have room service and free breakfast every day, Access to a rental car for the time that I'm here, et cetera. I'm looking at the good side of things. I am still struggling with the blood clot hemorrhoid, but it is a little better, a little less painful, but it is still here and a huge problem because I cannot sit, drive, or walk right now. That is my current living situation. In last night's dream, I dreamt that my close friend died. This close friend is my sponsee in recovery and we have been through life's ups and downs for almost 20 years together. In recovery, in real life, I am like a mom to her because I sponsor her and she's always there for me, always willing to come over and help and we need each other. Her real mom died when she was still young and she has mental deficits so she relies on me to fill that space for her and guide her, way more than a normal person would. We are extremely close. And I grieved so hard. I wailed and I cried. I am even crying right now just talking about it. Life would never be the same if she passed away and left me. I love her so much. And the dream still hurts even though right now I am wide awake. What does that mean?
