Dream About Squatting People Bunk Beds Ex Boyfriend Police Carnival Ride Shelter
Analyze my dream

This dream was about

I dreamed that I was at a friends house to help her get rid of a whole bunch of people who were just squatting at her house and refusing to leave. I walked around the house letting everyone know that they had 15 min to get their stuff and get out or I would be calling the cops. There were a lot of white bunk beds all over. There were at least 30-40 people there, including my ex boyfriend who I still love very much, hanging out with some random sluts. I went outside to call the police to have them come get the people out and the cops were already out there. They told us all to put our hands up and they made us sit in these seats that I eventually realized was one of those big swings that they have at the carnivals and county fairs. They turned it on and we started spinning and I was scared that I was going to fall out of the seat the faster we went. I was getting motion sickness it really felt like I was on the ride. When it stops they gave everyone a bicycle and put us all on a bus and stopped us off at a shelter that was expecting us.. I woke up at this point.

Nina, your dream is quite telling and loaded with significant symbols and emotions. Starting with the setting at your friend's house, it appears that you may be grappling with feelings of responsibility and control. The task of evicting the squatters suggests an internal struggle to rid yourself or someone close to you of lingering, unwelcome influences or past traumas. This aligns with your frequent feelings of stress and anxiety, and the presence of numerous bunk beds could symbolize a chaotic state of mind or unresolved issues piling up. The appearance of your ex-boyfriend, especially in a context where he is with other women, points to unresolved feelings and perhaps a sense of betrayal or jealousy. This could be a manifestation of your relationship difficulties and the emotional turmoil stemming from your past. The intensity of these feelings could be contributing to your frequent nightmares and recurring dreams. When the police arrive and instruct everyone to put their hands up, this could symbolize a feeling of being caught or trapped by circumstances beyond your control. The transition onto the carnival ride, where you experience fear and motion sickness, might reflect the unpredictable and overwhelming nature of your current life situation. This sensation of spinning and the fear of falling could be tied to your feelings of instability and anxiety. The conclusion of the dream, where everyone is given a bicycle and taken to a shelter, suggests a return to a state of dependency and seeking refuge.
