Dream About Lakes And Writing Workshops

I was at my mother's and her new age spiritual brothers came over and offered everyone edibles. No one but me took them and then suddenly I was by a lake walking to class. I arrived at a fiction writing workshop with some people I'd gone to grad school with. We were discussing whose stories would be workshoped next and someone asked to read mine. I said ok I had three stories and I was flipping through the printed stories and was both reading and seeing the stories. The first was like an 80s teen buddy comedy by a magical lake. The second one I don't remember but it also had a lake. And the second was about a young girl who'd only ever lived in the city who was visiting a lake with her mom. I told everyone I'd cut the first story down to 22 pages but while going through i realized the story was still 50 pages.
