Dream About Ex Relationships And Confusion

I had a dream that I came home and Paul was sat on the bed on a video call, chatting to somebody, I don't know who he was chatting to, and it turns out it was Sharon, his ex-wife. And I was kind of sat on the end of the bed, just waiting for him to finish talking, and he started sharing her pictures of Furniture, and he was talking to her in a real kind of way that I wouldn't expect him to talk to her. And I thought, what's going on? And he muted the call, and I said, what are you doing? And he said, oh, I'm just buying her mum some furniture. I said well, her mum's in a care home with dementia. And I was like, but why? And he said, oh, it's her birthday, and I'm going to invite her over. And I was like, what? And he said, I like her. And I was like, but you and Sharon are not together anymore. You haven't spoken to her mum in years. Why now? And you didn't really say anything. He went back on the call to Sharon, and he were talking to her again, in a really nice, happy way. And I was just sat there, thinking, what is happening? So anyway, eventually, Paul got off the call, and I said to him, I was like, what is happening? Why are you inviting her over? And he said, well, I like her. And I was like, you're buying her a birthday present. And he said, well, it's her birthday. And I said, you've never bought Abi a birthday present. And I got really upset. I was like, that's it. So I'm not going to hang around for this. You carry on with what you're doing, if that's what you want to do. Crack on. And I went downstairs, and I went outside. It was a really hot day. I had like a vest and shorts on. And I got on this bike. I started to cycle away. And as I was cycling around the side of the house, the kids came out the back door, and they were like, where are you going? And I was like, I'm not being part of this. Your dad can do what he wants. And you appeared at the back door, and Paul appeared at the back door, and he was laughing. And he was like, I don't see what the problem is. And I was like, see you later. So I basically just cycled off down the road, and cycled off down through the park.
