Dream

It was an afternoon, I just finished getting knotless braids in my hair and I was with an old friend from middle school - she’s Yemen. We went to a nearby Dominican hair salon to wash get my braids washed, there was a Dominican man there he seemed confused as to why I was there since my hair was professionally braided but I asked if they could wash my braids with a certain shampoo I brought from home which he agreed to. Before getting started, I was a bit nervous thinking to myself if I should probably do this since it might hurt moving every strand of braid around while it’s still fresh in my scalp and I know I’m very tender headed but I didn’t want to back out at the last minute. Anyway, we were then at this clothing store I’ve always been wanting some new clothes and I remember I have a lot of money on card so while I was trying to figure out what I wanted I seen some random clips playing from somewhere. The quality of the video seemed a bit new but with a vintage/old style filter on it, in the clip there was two girls sitting at a park bench though there was absolutely nothing around them besides sand and trees. It was sunny in that clip, one girl got up and started skipping around I began admiring her outfit she had this jean jumpers on and a glittery, rose gold, long sleeved shirt underneath it, I wanted the same outfit so I shopped in the store to hopefully find it.

Dream

The dream was set in a salon that I worked at in the past. People were showing up that I didn’t know but were talking about my previous job and saying how they admire me but I felt embarrassed and ashamed that I didn’t deserve it. My husband was there and said look at what you have done and that I should be proud of myself. I argued that I did not deserve it but everyone else seemed to think that I did. There were cheers and applause and excitement but I felt like I wanted to hide. Then I woke up.

I was at a salon getting my hair cut from long to a short pixie cut and dyed blonde. I really liked the style and it suited me. There was a woman who dropped her dinner all over the floor, she didn't clean it up straight away and I wondered why she just left it.

Dream

My nana had peplee around her house the area was weird looking. Someone had fallen in and she insisted on driving them I said she shouldn't drive as she can't since she's had a major stroke. I said I will go with her. She didn't know how to drive crashing into things, all over the road etc. I remember telling her to stop the car and she forgot how to. The handbrake wouldn't work I had to climb onto the peddles to stop. I was also at a salon and they were cutting my hair and it was beautiful

Dream

I was driving around my neighborhood with my mom going to school. We were going a different way than usual and I saw some restaurants and stores that I completely forgot were in the area. I saw a pet boutique having a sale outside and I thought how it’s been a while since we last went there. I told my mom that we should go there and get things for our cats. She said sure and we went later. We went into the pet boutique and inside looked like a Mexican corner store, all cramped up, but had many things to look at. Then suddenly the pet boutique changed to a hair salon. My mom said something about a haircut in Spanish but I didn’t really understand. Then she left the store to go do something else. The stylist then looked at me and said what do you want to do with your hair. I wasn’t sure so I just said a trim.

Dream

I was in a very nice salon. The salon serviced a lot of little black girls around the ages of 3 and 4. I was washing hair and someone was doing hair. The hairstylist and I were moving quick and getting the kids in and out. Olivia had called me to ask me who retwisted my locs. She was going through a tough time and just wanted someone to come by her house to do her hair. A man with locs was sitting in next to us when a little walked up us with half a head of curly hair and half a head of locs holding a bottle of conditioner. I questioned if her mom wanted me to come out her locs and the wondered who she belong too. The man says “that’s Alume. Why else do you think Serena Williams is here?” I rush to the lobby and there she was holding a baby and laying back on the bench.

Dream

In this dream, I walked into a hair salon because my husband, Ricky, was getting his haircut while I was waiting for him. I looked at some of the merchandise and there were different bottles, different bottles for different purposes or collections. one of the collections I looked at was made of citrus and ginger. I grabbed a bottle and thought about purchasing it, and when I reviewed the information about the product, I saw pictures of Ricky on sticker. He was a customer that benefited from the product. I guess they used him as a model or reference for the product. then when I looked around the salon they were people leaving. Ricky was still here so he was the last customer. I got annoyed because he didn’t organize his time. Normally I don’t like to stay late during business hours. I saw some other things that were on sale too- a Chinese inspired make up kit and I thought it was pretty. One of the associates was like “yes, it’s really nice”. Another part of the dream was that we drove up a hill into this area that had ancient burial ruins. These ancient ruins were burial grounds- they were up a hill, and the stone was grey and old, covered in green grass. Ricky and a few other friends wanted to go up onto this hill just to take a look, but I didn’t want to because we were not allowed. The area was an archeological site. I didn’t want to disturb the site in respect for the people that are researching and also that it was a burial ground, but the group insisted and decided to go up. I didnt join them so I payed on the ground, below the site and looked up in the sky and I noticed the shadow of the burial site created a deep shadow over me. I thought to myself that the stone could possibly fall on my face so I decided to get up. I walked on an incline to find everyone- then realized I was walking up the ancient burial ground. I wanted them to come down, the location was really high. When I came down, I saw a kitten. It was a kitten with blue eyes and it was a Siamese cat. I came back to my apartment and it had a covered balcony. I put the cat there- and saw four more black kittens as well and they were all meowing

Dream

Can’t Remember Early evening dreamt that I was trying to find the beauty salon. I had an appointment. I called my stylist and she asked how long it would take me to get there and I said 40 minutes.but then we were disconnected. I was inside a building and I told a man who I saw what I was looking for. I told him I could not remember the address or the name of the salon so I opened a book to show him the picture. For a brief time, I was in bewilderment, however, I proceeded to look and I found the salon and my hair stylist was waiting for me.

I dreamt I was with a group of friends that I knew and we all played the lottery. the jackpot of lottery was $150,000. As the radio played the numbers, nobody won and everybody threw their lottery tickets up in the air. However, my numbers match the numbers and so I stood up and told my friend to read the numbers and then as he started reading the numbers I interrupted him and said I’ll read you the numbers because my numbers matched. I read 080915 and then my ticket dropped when I went to go pick it up there’s a lot of tickets and I was looking for the tickets and I couldn’t find it next thing I know it we are getting ready to go to a New Year’s Eve party and the girls are getting their hair make up done. We were also supposed to be done by 7:30 but in my dream I was procrastinating and I started getting ready at 7:30. Also, I had to walk from our hotel room outside where it was raining to get to the salon and I remember dodging the rain. Throughout the dream I kept going back to trying to find out lottery ticket that was on the floor that I lost with all the others.

I had a dream that my sister and I went on a walk in our neighborhood to our neighborhood pool. But my sister, for some reason was too tired to walk back so I told her I would carry her back. I picked her up put her on my back and realize that she was a lot lighter than I had anticipated. As we were on our walk back, I encountered two girls in the neighborhood. I love their hair. They were a natural, reddish copper. With brown highlights, and bright red. It was so beautiful and we were talking about Hair. They said they do it themselves. I told them they should open a salon and do it for others. Then left and went back to my house. Where I was awaiting someone who I had a crush on who had turned me down and rejected me in the past. I dreamt this person and they were in my dream. I wanted them to see me when I came in the house. The house was an old family home. I wanted them to notice me.

I dreamt that I got a job as an apprentice at a beauty salon. It was owned by a famous Hollywood couple who were now elderly but still working at the salon. They took one look at my hair and declared it had to be fixed, so they immediately put a new colour on. The other staff were really helpful and happy and teaching me clearly. Everyone else in the salon was so much younger than me, but they didn't mind that I was so old. It was a very busy and positive environment, and all day long I was excited to see my hair at the end of the day, when they finally finished it. But I woke up before they got to me.

Dream

Daniil my ex / lover came here and we were in a hair salon. I was sitting in the chair and he was brushing through my hair. I saw a lot of Grey strands in it. Next I was in the apartment of some girls I knew in high school, I think it was in NYC. They grew up and looked different. Hotter, with new hair cuts and the other gained weight but they both looked great. I took a shower in their apartment and the shower was in the kitchen. They were standing there talking with me while I showered at ease. Nudity was simply just no clothes. I loved that part. We talked about the shampoo having Silicone in it which is bad for the environment and that's its banned in Europe. But I informed them its not completely banned I've seen products that include it over there.
