Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (collectively, "CCPA/CPRA"), California residents have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information about them or their household, such as (though not limited to) their name, postal or email address, and other personally identifying information. You need not be physically present in California to exercise this right provided that you have a current California residence.

Our practices. We do not sell or share your personal information, with one exception: if you have given us your explicit opt-in consent, we may include de-identified dream content in datasets that we license or sell to third parties for research purposes and for the training of artificial intelligence and machine learning models, as described in the "AI Training and Data Licensing" section of our Privacy Notice. This may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" under the CCPA/CPRA. If you have not opted in, your personal information is not sold or shared. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information. Dream content may constitute "sensitive personal information" under the CCPA/CPRA, for example where it reveals information about health, sex life, or religious or philosophical beliefs. You have the right to limit the use and disclosure of your sensitive personal information to what is necessary to provide the Service. Because our use of dream content beyond providing the Service happens only with your opt-in consent, you can exercise this right by declining or withdrawing that consent at any time.

This right to opt out is subject to certain exemptions. For example, it does not apply to information that we share with certain third-party service providers so that they can perform business functions for us or on our behalf.

How to opt out. To exercise the Right to Opt-Out or the Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information, you may: (i) use the consent controls in the app; or (ii) submit a request to us (directly or through your authorized representative) at support@dreamapp.io. Opting out withdraws any consent you previously gave: your dream content will be excluded from any dataset prepared or delivered after your request.

Once you make an opt-out request, we will wait at least twelve (12) months before asking you to reauthorize the sale or sharing of Personal Information. However, you may change your mind and opt back in at any time.

You do not need to create an account with us to exercise your Right to Opt-Out. We will only use Personal Information provided in an opt-out request to review and comply with the request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights.
