There was a casting call for drag queen/king performers so I went to try out. There was a very long line that I had to wait in and while waiting I bumped into a friend from highschool. We talked as we waited in line until finally we get to the front. Only to find out we weren’t going to be doing auditions that day, just filling out paperwork and getting a welcome packet. So I get the paperwork and as in filling it out in trying to decide if I want to be a drag king or drag queen. I decide I really want to be a drag queen even though I’m a woman. I’m nervous about going up in front of people with absolutely no experience in drag performing. After handing in my paperwork I headed back to my car to go home and start putting my performance together.
