Dream About Subconscious Conversation

I became aware in the dream without using a reality check or seeing a dream sign i don't think or at least I can't remember it. I was speaking to a friend I met at a meditation retreat in just got back from. Her name was Benu. I asked if she was my subconscious, she said yes. I asked what she represented she just said my subconscious. I kept trying to ask if there is anything important that I need to know or do and she wouldn't say anything. She may have said no but I'm not sure. Kept trying to change the question to get a better answer but ended up waking up before a better answer came along.
